Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, announced the launch of the second phase, emphasizing its goal to create "simpler, faster, and more impactful government services." This initiative aligns with President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan’s vision for a world-class model of government service delivery.

Remarkable Achievements of Phase One

The first phase of the Zero Government Bureaucracy program, launched in November 2023, yielded impressive results:

  • Reduced service delivery time by over 70 percent.
  • Eliminated more than 4,000 unnecessary procedures.
  • Removed 1,600 redundant requirements.
  • Saved customers over 12 million hours annually.
  • Resulted in an annual saving of Dhs1.12 billion for the public, businesses, and investors.

Mohammad Al Gergawi, Minister of Cabinet Affairs, highlighted that over 690 teams from 30 government entities contributed to these achievements.
